![]() I know people will just find videos on youtube and memorize them, but having features like a switch you have to flip in the blue card room to activate the keycard pad for the red room, and the same in the green room to access the blue. I know there are NPCs and the area is usually pretty hot in regards to PVP, but that’s not enough. It’s made worse when the loot is easily accessible by the minicopter, making the runs shorter, therefore uneventful and boring.īoth oil rigs are fun and work pretty great as a tier 3 monument, but it is disappointing that the keycard puzzle on the oilrigs isn’t more extensive. Players are getting upset and bored by going to the same 2 monuments over and over to farm. The problem I see in the future is that players who have access to the minicopter/helicopter BP will simply resort back to the same gameplay loops we’re seeing now, it will just be less rampant. I think the reason you made the copters so easy to find in the first place, was to get players to beta test them and rapidly discover any exploits, which is very smart. This would seemingly justify the ability to easily circumvent keycard puzzles. If you do all the work for the modular vehicles, I can only assume you’ll apply the same mechanics to the helicopters and make them craftable / rare / impossible to find. ![]() Congradulations on the minicopter/scrap copter flight mechanics, artwork, and seamless parenting, btw! That is genuinely well done to the point that some servers are based entirely on them. Because of that, I can only assume the most logical changes to be made in future and offer my opinion:įirstly, It’s my understanding that modular vehicles are being worked on. Please understand, that us players are feeling a bit uneasy at these recent changes that seem to diverge from the pathway of the game to a dead end. I understand Facepunch is working on the cars right now, and I get it if they have some plans they want to tell us, but can only start work on after all the vehicles and their mechanics are implemented into the game. Right now everyone is pointing at the minicopters, but I believe there is a more fundamental issue than that. Nobody likes the ability for players to skip progression in the game.
